Commercial Hardscaping

Medeiros Hydroseeding and Landscaping has extensive experience in the construction of large, expansive hardscape projects. Working with a number of municipalities and commercial interests in and around southern New England, the scope of our projects speak for themselves. These have included the construction of sea walls, large concrete and stone public gathering areas, ocean break walls, retaining walls, as well as the installation of foundations and pilings.

From an urban planning perspective, hardscapes can include very large features, such as paved roads, driveways, fountains and even small pools. Most water features are hardscapes because they require a barrier to retain the water, instead of letting it drain into the surrounding soil.

The hardscapes that we’ve been involved with usually allow for the erection of man-made landscaping features that would otherwise be impossible due to a lack of proper erosion control.
